Months ago an author friend of mine, Mallory Rowe, inspired me to write a haiku and after not writing one since probably middle school gifted English class, I finally did it.

The Last…
We are approaching the last month of the year. What?! How has this happened?! It’s the oddest thing how time simultaneously goes by slowly yet quickly. I’m looking forward to continuing to celebrate the holiday season.
Friday Favorites 12.17.21
I love reading other people’s favorite things. The items they love at the moment. The songs they can’t get enough of. The books they rave about. You too? Okay, great, read on because I’m bringing back my Friday Favorites posts!
The Last…
I really cannot believe it’s the last day of November. Shep is almost 6 months old and this year is almost over. It’s wild! As much as I want the infant stage to speed up, I also want the holiday time to go slowly and have us be intentional about cherishing it. It really is the best time of the year!
2020: Lost a lot but we gained more
2020, it’s been a strange year. Ups and downs. Toilet paper and meat shortages (which, PSA, you can survive off zero meat, folks, but zero TP, I don’t want to try). The Last…
It’s been too long since I’ve done one of these. My apologies! Here’s to the last few days of October! Happy Halloween weekend! What are your lasts?
Pfeiffer Turns Two
Pfeiffer enjoyed the tradition I have of celebrating her birthday all month long. She loved it! She’s continued to ask, “it’s my birthday month?”, in which of course I know how to tell her it’s October. But she then says, “it’s Issac’s birthday month?”, who is a friend in her class who must have an upcoming birthday hah She’s a hoot.
A Happy Mother’s Day
Celebrating Mother’s Day 2020 and rereading this great book my mom gave me when I was pregnant, Motherhood: 55 Reflections on What It Means to Be a Mom. I could highlight almost every quote in the book but picked a few to share with y’all today. Enjoy!
Mid-Month Minutia: Blessings
Hi! I’m teaming up with my cousin Holly at Osborn Extravaganza for our series, Mid-Month Minutia: Little Details of Random Things. For February, fitting with the lovey dovey theme that rings throughout the month, we’re discussing a detail about our spouse that we love.
