I love reading other people’s favorite things. The items they love at the moment. The songs they can’t get enough of. The books they rave about. You too? Okay, great, read on because I’m bringing back my Friday Favorites posts!
Here are my favorite things as of late:
Favorite Podcast: SmartlessI’ve never found a comedic podcast that I’m this hooked on. The only other podcast that gripped me the way this one did was Serial and that’s an entirely different genre. This podcast’s hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes have me laughing out loud. Each week one of the hosts will bring on a guest who is a surprise to the other two guests and they have casual conversation and hysterical and witty banter. Give it a listen if you’re in need of a laugh and don’t mind occasional profanity.
Favorite Drink: RasaMy SIL turned me onto this stuff and I can’t get enough! Now they advertise it as a coffee alternative but I’ll be honest, I’m not giving up coffee but I sub this in the afternoon for a little energy booster vs having a second cup of coffee.
Here’s how they describe their products:
Enjoy the taste of the top-rated coffee alternative with natural, balanced energy. Rasa contains no common allergens, no fillers, & no BS. Health benefits. Adaptogenic herbs. Energy without caffeine. Like Coffee, but better.
I suggest the five pack sampler (snag it on Amazon here) so you can see which is your favorite or just go right the original and you can’t go wrong. Find out all about Rasa here.
Favorite Baby Thing: BumboWe use our Bumbo every day. From Shep exploring eating to keeping him close by and entertained while I cook; we love the thing! I highly recommend the one with the tray (we rarely use our without it). Here’s the one we have.
Favorite Thing On TV: Holiday MoviesGive me all the cheesy Hallmark (and the like) holiday movies please. Sometimes we just need something mindless to watch. We need something easy to feel good. This time of year is fun and special but it’s also demanding and stressful. Let yourself relax with a flick you know will have a positive ending.
What are you currently obsessing over? I’d love to hear!
