Months ago an author friend of mine, Mallory Rowe, inspired me to write a haiku and after not writing one since probably middle school gifted English class, I finally did it.
We are approaching the last month of the year. What?! How has this happened?! It’s the oddest thing how time simultaneously goes by slowly yet quickly. I’m looking forward to continuing to celebrate the holiday season.

Well, bittersweet to be wrapping up my birthday month but more sweet than bitter since we’re finally on our way to Iceland (a trip 2+ years in the making!).

It's the last day of June and what a month it's been for my family, for our country. Overall, it's been a tough month but we did have some sparks of joy during birthday celebrations, swim lessons, a weekend lake trip, and launching my organizing business's new website.
